Love Ring, 1st century BC, Greece

Greek Love Ring

Eros, the little god of love, also known as Cupid is the son and constant companion of Venus/Aphrodite.  He brings passion and love to Gods and mortals alike.

This unusual design is replicated from a first century BC Greek seal ring.  Rings of this type were given as love tokens.  They were also worn by ladies as talismans to help little Eros bring ever lasting love.

The surface is deeply carved with a delicate image of Eros drinking wine.  It's ample size makes it perfect for middle or ring finger.

Also available by request in gold for really serious lovers!

Image Size 7/8" diameter
